Re: jvc sirus and ipod issues

I am having exactly the same problems. No sirius and ipod has to be turned up very loud to hear at all. The problem appeared suddenly friday night with no movement of accessories. It was working when I turned it off and wasn't when I turned it on a few hours later. I have checked connections and reset unit with no success.

How to hook up a sirius radio to a alpine ada105 car stereo do i need any interface cables or anything else the stereo is sat radio ready

you shouldnt have to purchase any other cables to hook up sirus however somtimes due to the changes in the manufactor weather it be xm or sirius you may come across your radio not interfacting with the package you bought you might want to check the manufacture about this sirius 99 percent of the time will hook up to most JVC Alpine, Kenwood, ECT but you need to look at the back of your reciever at your connections on the back you should have in output and or input for for either aux in the back such as for a cd changer or in your case that will be used for your sirius hook up. My names Josh and i hope your able to get it figured out.

Can't select satellite option when pressing source button.

The Sirius Tuner is separate from the AM/FM/CD, check the plugs between the two. If all is snug, pull the SIRIUS tuner and go to a JVC dealer that would have any deck w/sirius as an option and plug it in. If it sees it, it's more than likely a problem with your deck. My guess is it's a bad SIRIUS tuner. There have been LOTS!!! Good news is there easy to replace if bad, and there cheap! $45.00 from Crutchfield rebuilt.

I'd go to their website and download the owners manual and see if that tells you how to do it. Good luck.
