Try You can also ping the ip. Go to 'Start', Run", type in "cmd" without the quote marks. Now type in "ipconfig /all", and that will give you the ip address.

Port forwarding for model number F7D5301

To setup port forwarding on this router your computer needs to have a static ip address. Or you can take alook at our Static IP Address guide to setup a static ip address. When you are finished setting up a static ip address, please come back to this page and enter the ip address you setup in the Static IP Address box below. Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser. If you do not know your routers internal IP address please read our How To Find Your Routers IP Address guide.

The address bar has in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your router. By default the IP address should be set to

We do not currently know the default username and password for your router.
Click the NAT button near the left of the page.
You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click Port Forwarding.
Enter the name of the program into the Description box. It doesn't really matter what you put into this box, but something that will remind you why these ports are being forwarded would be a good idea.
Enter the port to forward into the Public Port and the LAN Port boxes.
Use the Protocol Type drop down box to select the protocol type of the ports you are forwarding.
Enter the ip address to forward these ports to into the LAN IP Address box. If you are forwarding ports so you can run a program on your computer, you should enter your computer's ip address into that box.
Put a checkmark in the Enable checkbox.
When you're finished, click Save Setting near the top of the screen to save your changes.

And that's it! You're done!

There should be an automated port forwarding setup where you dont need to type in any IPs, but only the port(s) you want forwarded. also, the local IP isnt 198... but 192.168.1.x
To do this setup you'll need to go to the router's default page which should be sometihng like 191.168.1.x, you'll find this IP either on the bottom of the router, or in the router's documentation. Just type in this IP in your browser's Address bar and find the Port Forwarding page. Consult the router's documentation if you cant find it.

Netopia NAT

I know that most Netopia's I've worked with have been able to port forward single or ranges of ports to numerous internals from numerous externals.

Address Translation needs to be on.
IP Passthrough has to be off.
Then in NAT Easy Servers, setup port forwards and specify the external IP, internal IP, and ports (can forward all).

How to forward website to belkin n1 vision router

You would have to log into the router to configure port forwarding on port 80. You would have to know the IP address of the computer hosting the website and put that in the routers config under port forwarding.

I am using Belkin F5D7632ak4A. My problem is that:

Hi there,

In doing a port forwarding, you actually need to assign a manual address on the computer where you are using the service port for the computer not to change the IP address. If your private address on the network is 192.168.1.XX then you may assign on your computer any of the address there. Also you may need to know the DNS you are using on the router which you can find on the status tab of the router.

To assign an IP address, if your computer is wired then right click on the wireless connection and select properties, if it is a wireless computer right click on the wireless connection and select properties.

After you have selected the said properties> look for Internet Protocol TCP/IP then select properties.

then from there you can put in the set of address you have for ex.
IP address
subnet mask
Default gateway
preferred DNS
alternate DNS

Note: these are just example. after you have done assigning an IP address then you may do the port forwarding again. change the IP address on the port forwarding tab to the IP address you have assigned. Then don't forget to save the settings.

Click Options in the menu at the top of your screen. In the list that drops down click Preferences.

Click Connections on the left hand side of the Utorrent program. You should now see the menu shown in the screenshot above. Make sure the Enable UPnP box is unchecked. Port forwarding

What is the manufacturer of your router so I can get a user guide and taylor the instructions if needed?

Generally I would statically address the device to be forwarded to. If your router address is and Subnet mask of and it's DHCP server controls address for 50 leases to then consider using the range - uniquely as static IP addresses. There are more starting at but let's ignore them for now. In the network adapter to recieve port forwarded content assign a static IP address based on the above as say with a subnet mask of and a default gateway of The DNS addresses should also be static however depending on your router there may be an option. Some routers allow their address to be entered as the DNS address and pass requests as appropriate to the DNS servers loaded in their lan configurations, otherwise you will enter your ISP supplied DNS addresses into the network configuration.

Now that we have established a stable IP address to forward the port to we need to tell the router everything it sees for port 5060 gets forwarded to IP Address port 8000. If detailed instructions are needed I will need to know the manufacturer and model of your router.

Please provide the additional information and any questions in a response to this problem and I will respond when available.
