I have had to use a regular mouse with my laptop because the cursor would no longer move--could I have hit a button out of anger and stalled it or is it going to cost me a fortune to have this repaired?

-   I have a Toshiba M105-s3304 laptop. my laptop mousepad quit working. I had installed a wireless mouse, but uninstalled it as I rarely used it. When I unistalled the driver for the wireless mouse, the mousepad quit working. I have tried Fn + F9 (posted on Fixya) but to no avail. Will I have to install a driver. the mousepad is not even listed on the Device manager.
yes, Toshiba models have a function key combination that will disable the built in touch pad, it is next to the function button to enable the external display output.

Hello. My Head phone jack is not working. I have a Sony Vaio Laptop and the speakers on it are working fine. When I put the head phones in it I don't hear a thing. I've up dated the drivers and it seems to be recognising the headphones but still no sound. Help? Many thanks.
