Hello
A couple years ago I purchased a Fuji S3 pro and in general I am very satisfied with the products and since the purchased I am a big fan of Fuji products but what bothers me is a line that shows (across the image halfway from the right to center) in almost all my photographs especially when I shoot in low light. If I had the possibility I would send you a few samples of what I am talking about so you can see for yourselves. Is this due to a manufacturing error or are all the sensors in the S3Pro doing this?
When you say in low light, I take it you mean when on a high ISO setting. The S3Pro does have some limitations in this regard. One reviewer stated:
"As expected, our test images are clean and relatively noise free from
ISO 100 through ISO 800. At ISO 1600, noise has a significant impact
on images. To keep it in check, Fujifilm applies relatively heavy
detail-smearing noise reduction to JPEGs. You can bypass this by
shooting raw, but then your images will be fairly noisy. All in all,
we'd rate the S3 Pro's high-ISO image quality to be middle-of-the-pack
among current dSLRs."
I guess that probably answers your question!
Feel free to get back to me.
You are very welcome. You can e-mail me (removing the nospam element) at: [email protected]
Is the line present in both jpeg and RAW? Has the camera been dropped, ever, or have you ever tried to clean the sensor?

Thank you for getting to my quest so quick. Well actually what I was talking about is, a specific line running across the image not the actual noise even though I am satisfied of the noiseless images though the noise itself does not bother me whatsoever, its not it. See the line I am talking about shows up in some low lighting photos on a 160 ISO.
I can send an image (that I shot this morning) to you if you give me an e-mail address.
Thanks
