I got a a sharp LC-32D43U and for my motorola cable box i use hte code 31 from jerrold, i take it from the manual and i got it tryin every single code unti i get one that works.

look for a set of 2 - 6 buttons around edge, top, sides, of unit, under a flap, you can do all with those keys.

you might try unplugging the TV and then plugging in again. It worked for me
