Babylock imagine - The left lower looper is NOT chaining with the rest. How can I correct this? I've rethreaded a zillion times and it goes thru OK - but not chaining still.

When you rethread or break a thread, ALWAYS pull the threads loose from the back of the needles so all thread are not entwined with each other yes still threaded. Try again and if not chaining there is one step missing on one thread. You just have to rethread again until you correct the missing thread guide.

Hobby lock 774 won't make thread chain I don't know how to fix

try changing the needles

rethread the machine--using every thread position

also check the tension

if it still doesn't make a chain, then there could be a timing problem

Why would my Singer ProFinish not chain and the needles will not stay threaded?

Try rethreading it. Make sure you are getting the bottom thread right or your tension will not lock the threads thus no chain.

I broke a needle and tried to replace both needles. Now I can't get my machine to chain. I have rethreaded it, and replaced the needles, closely following the manual and threading guide but still

it's possible that when the needle broke it could have caused the
machine to jump time and would need to be serviced to see if it
needs adjustment.

Janome Juno 3434d wont make a chain

If it was hitting before you stopped, it's likely that the looper either got bent or was knocked out of time. I would take it in for repair.

Elna serger is not creating chain stitch

Rethread! Your lose looper has a "hidden" eye all the way to the left. You will find task easy with serger looper tweezers and serger looper Threader; however, if you turn hand wheel to the left, the lower looper will slide in that direction. Now you will see that "hidden" hole now. It takes practice, but you can still thread it without the extra tools! Hope this helps and if it does, I will get point for if you give me rating since I offer my time free to help others. Jimmy

Serger won't chain off a stitch. Stitches won't chain and hold to fabric. Added new needle, rethreaded whole machine. Stitches won't connect to fabric or make a chain.

is it possible that the needles are in backwards?
it's very possible that the machine is out of time & would have to be taken to a sewing machine repair shop to be retimed

I cut the chain thread by mistake, how do i get it back? Am new to this

Rethread the machine. Do the loopers first, then the needles. If you ever break a looper thread, you have to undo the needle threads, rethread the looper thread and then rethread the needles.

Sewing machine stopped making the stich

Unthread the needles, rethread the loopers properly, then rethread the needles. Make sure that all four threads are pulled securely into the tensions and retry.

The loopers must always be threaded before the needles or it will not chain.
