Hi.

To install a different language - Multilingual User Interface (MUI) - you need to have Windows 7 Ultimate.

Anytime Upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate
Type Anytime Upgrade in the Search programs and files box in the Start menu and click on the Windows Anytime Upgrade icon. From there, you can buy an Anytime Upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate. Then your can enter your Anytime Upgrade product key and perform a simple upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate so you can install a different language.

If you are in Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, and the US you can use Anytime Upgrade. If not you will need to buy Windows 7 Ultimate, or buy Windows 7 in the language you need.

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/windows-anytime-upgrade

Install Language Pack in Windows 7 Ultimate

1. Start -> All Programs --> Windows Update --> Optional Updates.
2. Open optional Updates and go to the section Windows 7 Language Packs.
3. Tick the Language Pack you want and hit OK
4. Proceed with Install Updates
5. Depiction of Windows 7 downloading a Language Pack
6. Automatic install initiated after download

How to change the Windows 7 Display Language:

1. Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Clock, Language, and Region / Change the display language
2. Switch the display language in the Choose a display language dropdown menu.
3. Click OK
4. Log off for the changes to take effect (This will affect only the user profile under which you are currently logged on).

The only other way to get the English language is to use the recovery partition or recovery disk to start over from scratch.

If there is anything else please post back..

Good luck.

Adobe flash plug in has been crushed

If the flash player has crashed once, then it may not be a problem but if this is occurring repeatedly, then try to upgrade your flash player. If your flash player is up-to-date, then it may be the incompatibility between the flash player and the web-browser. In that case, try to have both the most recent updated browsers, like Mozilla Firefox 4, Google Chrome 12 or IE 8 or IE 9 and corresponding updated flash player.

To download latest softwares, click on the links below:
  1. Adobe Flash Player IE (for Internet Explorer, Avant, etc)
  2. Adobe Flash Player Non-IE (for Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, etc)
  3. Mozilla Firefox 4 RC
  4. Google Chrome 12 Beta
If you use Firefox or Chrome as browser, then Flash Player for Non-IE is sufficient, but still I recommend you to install both the IE and Non-IE flash players.

Hope this helps,
Regards,

Corrupt or incompatible language id

you probably upgraded to internet explorer 8 ...and this one has some issues cause its still a trial ...try to restore your computer to an earlier stage ..ifyou have madea restore point ..or ...just try to uninstall the damn internet explorer ....if you have 8 ..it will set it to 7 ...and so on ...if you use Iex & ..it wil set it to 6 ( the most reliable one ) ..but if you already formated you C partition ...and need to install it anyway ...try to see why doesnt it starts the set-up ...
1 .when you boot from cd ...first go to bios by pressing del ...and set only the boot from cd at the boot device order..( you will restore the HDD boot priority after the instalation is completed )
2 always delete the C partition and format it ...never install in another folder or the same one but overwriting on the last instalation ..
3 ..when the loading of the files is over ..and it is rebooting itself for the first time ....do not press any key to reboot from cd ...it should try ..for a few seconds and continue the set-up ...
4 .if its still not going on with the set-up ...just flash the CMOS by removing the bios battery for a second...this will restore it to the original setings ...and try again to reload from cd..and set-up..
5 try to remove and replug the HDD ..maybe it is not recognized proper...
6 .get another xp cd ...the one you use ..might be damaged..
I wish ya good luck ...and I let ya have my yahoo id ...for futher info ..or oppinions..

Usb 2.0 windows 98

Windows 98 SE supports USB 2.0. The original Windows 98 (gold) or Windows 98 OEM or Windows 98 Upgrade versions which are not SE will not support USB 2.0. Nor is there any way to get USB 2.0 support for these Windows 98 versions unless you upgrade to Windows 98 SE.

Note that the Windows 98 SE upgrade CD will fail upon completion, leaving the SE Upgrade with a corrupt registry, if you try to run the Windows 98 SE Upgrade CD on a Windows 98 system that has a version of IE installed which is higher than IE 4.
