Network card very low internet signal can i boost it and how?

    do you have to disable the onboard antenna on the w200 pcb? i purchased
    an add on antenna|| http://www.data-alliance.net/servlet/the...
    modded the case a little. but when i connect the mc
    connector. i don't see any improvement on reception through network
    stumbler. if anything i believe that it actually gets worse. what
    antenna setup does it use when stock.

You can boost it, what is thev distance b/wn ur router and the laptop , is it more than 30 feet?, if not change the channel in the router, or upgrade latest software in the router and that would fix the problem, if u still have the same prblm, u can go for a range extender..

Yes, The easiest solution is to purchase a range extending antenaa($39.99) found at various electrnoic/computer stores. If you need more range (1000ft or more) you can purchase power extenders($149.99) these will send your signal throu your house AC lines. Good Luck

There is an installation problem, and you need a technician. When the receiver reboots, it sends a boost of power to the LNBF until it gets a signal in return, or gets a response of no signal. If you have damaged lines, a damaged receiver, damaged LNBF, or low signal reception on your antenna, a rebooted receiver will, for a very short time, boost the signal enough to get reception. Then, the receiver will drop the power back to the correct levels, thereby eliminating the short term reception boost. A technician can repair your installation to improve the reception, as long as there is Line Of Sight to the correct satellites.

Use the default gateway in internet explorer to enter in to router page

Low/bad signal on broadband stick
first and cheepest option first would be to try diffrent software or try it with the generic windows wireless search..

the next thing to do would be just to buy a signal boost

your antenna can be seen at the bottom of the laptop. it looks like a battery of cellphone bit it has buttons for wire connections, actually it is called internal wireless card. there are many ways in boosting the wireless signal you can easily search how to boost wireless signal from youtube and you will see exaclty how it is done.

Have you tried to see if there is a better signal in different areas ? If so you may need to get something to boost the signal. Either a stand alone booster or a different card for the computer. Is it possible the battery is losing capacity to hold a charge, if the computer in question is a laptop?

Low signal
The only way to boost the signal is to upgrade the internal wireless card to a card with more range. Research the various Broadcom and Intel wireless cards and find one that meets the range you need. Most of the cards are interchangeable, so even though it may not have been offered for your machine, it will work, with the proper drivers.
