My rca home theater tv keeps jumping channels and the remote will not operate it the only way to operate it is to cut it off useing the button on the tv the channel button nor the volume buttons work just the on/off button.
The trouble is the front panel buttons,unplug the unit and remove the back cover,just below were you removed the top screws,you can look under and see the top of the tubes,there is a small board in front of the middle tube,unplug the right top cable off this board and you can use your remoten till you can get it serviced
