Question about Texas Instruments TI-15 Explorer Calculator
On the TI-15 I am having a problem getting the Fix function to go away. I inherited these calculators from a predecessor and they lost the manual so I'm trying to figure this out on my own and am afraid that I am going to mess it up even more. Thanks for any assistance you can provide. Angie Dubree
How do I clear off fix (rounding) mode on the TI-10 and TI-15?
In order to clear Fix off the calculator just press the following keys
- First press the [Fix] key
- Next press the [.] decimal key

I am new to the TI-15 also, this one was dropped and was discarded as broken. Most equations returned a Zero, but the you could use the value in the next equation, so I knew it was there. The calculator displayed FIX OP1 OP2 and an up arrow in the left upper corner, I didn't know what any of that was for. My calc wouldn't reset but this did the trick. Press Mode, then down arrow three times. Arrow over to the Yes for a reset, then press Enter in the lower right. It will display MEM CLEARED and it should be good to go.

Push clear and on/off key at the same time. This is supposed to clear the operations on the calculator.
