Black main engine wiring connector block to the fuse box diagram for a 2006 Chevy Cobalt LS with 2.2 engine! I was replacing corroded connectors on the main engine wiring harness black block to the fuse box of my wifes car and did the the "stupidest" dumbest thing and let someone distract me and I placed some of the wires in the wrong places. The car will start but it runs rough. I have tried to find a wiring diagram or schematic for the wiring block but keep running into a brick wall. I have tried to move the wires around, and still get the same results. It's only 4 wires that are screwed up, however, those 4 wires are stopping the car from running right. Yes the car was running well except for a couple of relays getting a little hot. The black wiring block for our Cobalt is a 17 pin connector. I need some help. I'm hoping someone out there has a picture, diagram, schematic, or sujestion of a website that they can share.

2007 Chevy HHR LT 2.2. Replace fuse box housing.

Replace a Fuse: 2007 Chevrolet HHR LT 2.2L 4 Cyl. (carcarekiosk.com) This has a video showing location of the engine fuse box.

Auto Parts by CarParts.com - Right Parts. Right Now.

Chevrolet HHR Repair & Service Manuals (35 PDF's (onlymanuals.com)

To replace the fuse box housing in your 2007 Chevy HHR LT 2.2, follow these steps:

Locate the Fuse Box: The fuse box is typically located in the engine compartment or under the hood. It houses various fuses and relays that control different electrical components in your vehicle.

Disconnect the Battery: Before working on any electrical components, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to ensure safety.

Remove the Cover: Open the fuse box cover. You'll find a diagram inside the cover that shows the location and function of each fuse.
Identify the Faulty Fuse Box: Inspect the fuse box for any signs of damage or wear. If it's cracked, corroded, or malfunctioning, you'll need to replace it.

Unplug Electrical Connectors: Carefully unplug the electrical connectors attached to the fuse box. Take note of their positions to reconnect them correctly later.

Remove the Old Fuse Box: Unscrew or unclip the fuse box from its mounting bracket. Gently pull it out.

Install the New Fuse Box: Position the new fuse box in place and secure it to the mounting bracket. Reattach the electrical connectors.

Replace Fuses: Transfer the fuses from the old box to the new one. Make sure they match the correct positions as indicated by the diagram.

Test the Electrical Systems: Reconnect the battery and test all electrical systems (lights, radio, etc.) to ensure everything is functioning properly.

Secure the Cover: Close the fuse box cover and secure it in place.
Remember to consult your vehicle's manual or seek professional assistance if you encounter any difficulties during the process.

2006 Chevy Trailblazer LS. What fuse controls the EVAP Canister Vent Solenoid please?

there are like 1billion cars noW doing this.
  1. the gas cap was loose or bad !!!
  2. theN the driver did not know it takes 30 driving cycles to clear the CEL lamp. OOPS 30? OBD2 DOES THAT. PER SERVICE MANUAL RULES, IF YOU READ THEM.
  3. the fuse did not blow, or you'd have not asked where it is, I get that.!

99% of the time the cap was just loose or bad
my car the 1% time, the purge solenoid stuck
and my walmart silicon spray'd there (INSIDE IT) ended FAILURE for 50,000 more miles.
learn to buy AND USE a scan tool (borrow, rent ,buy)
tighten the cap again
scan the pCM see the cel lamp reasons./
push reset on the toll (CEL goes off if lucky and not 100 other DTC errors set)
and drive 3 times or more and the CEL stays off.

the other resets are(NO SCAN TOOL,. REALLY?)
1: PULL BATTERY LUG FOR 15MIN AND PUT BACK
OOPS RADIO GOES DEAD. dang
2: PULL ALL IOD FUSES. THE PCM MEMORY FUSE ONLY.
Ecm F29 IS IT(MEM) (PCM) 10AMPS
ALL DTCS NOW GONE, STORED. THE DATA FELL; INTO THE BIT BUCKET AS THEY SAY

IF ALL TESTS AND WILD GUESSING REPLACING ALL EVAP; VALVES. THEN COMES THE SMOKE MACHINE TESTS.
TO FIND THE LEAK
THIS IS AND EPA MANDATED MONITOR IN USA.
FOR SURE. THE 2 FUSES FOR BOTH EVAP VALVES ARE HERE.

Where is a map sensor on a 2006 chevy cobalt 2.2 4 door LS

It's on the intake manifold, black and small like a matchbox, with a three wire electrical connector. On the bottom is a rubber projection that presses into a hole in the intake manifold. To remove it, take off any retainer screws or strap, pull off the electrical connector, and pull it up out of the hole. It is on the intake because it measures the air pressure inside the manifold (manifold absolute pressure, thus the name map sensor), which is most often lower than atmospheric pressure and so therefore a vacuum.

2006 trailblazer ac only blows on #5 speed. Replaced blower resistor & control panel. Also on any lower speed ip lites up i.e. abs, traction control,e-brake &seat belt?

****, you can check some more but from what I am reading your problem could be related to a faulty ignition switch. I am sending you a copy of some fixes.. you can compare to your condition..
Best of Luck to you..

2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS 4.2L, Vin S, Eng Cfg L6
Customer Concern: No blower motor function. AntiLock Brake System (ABS), Red Brake Warning Light (RBWL), Traction lights all on. Radio does not work. Tests/Procedures: 1. Check for battery voltage at fuses #31 and 39 in Rear Fuse Box under the rear seat.

2. If the voltage value is less than battery voltage, check the Orange wire at the 48 cavity connector located at the base of the steering column at pin D1.

3. If the voltage is low at C201 check the voltage at pin "G" of the ignition switch.

Potential Causes: Ignition Switch

2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS 4.2L, Vin S, Eng Cfg L6
Customer Concern: ABS, Low track light comes on intermittently. The heater blower motor quits running, 4WD not working. No communication with the ABS. If you disconnect the ABS computer and plug it back in, it may work. Tests/Procedures: 1. Test voltage at HVAC 30A, 4WD 15A, HVAC 1 10A, BRAKE 10A, TBC RUN 3A labeled fuses in the rear fuse block during the problem.

2. Inspect connector 101 38 cavity connector mounted along the underhood bussed electrical center. This harness may be routed tightly around the underhood fuse block, causing chafing or connector terminal contact that could induce any of the concerns listed.
