I recently bought the new Ryobi Lithium Ion Drill & 2 battery set with the torch. I have an old Ryobi One + drill and batteries but the batteries were on their last legs. I prefer to use the old Ryobi One+ drill with the new Lithium Ion battery. The old Ryobi One+ drill has more settings. However, I've noticed that if it stops or gets caught during operation and stops then it won't restart again at all. I find I have to place the Lithium Ion battery into its charger for a minute or two to make it power the drill again. Is this some sort of safety measure or is something wrong with this combo? From all comments I've read about this new Ryobi it's supposed to be very compatable with the old One+ products. Any suggestions or advice, please?

I bought a Milwaukee Drill 2601-22 a couple of days ago, I got 2 issues. 1.- When I open the chuck all the way and then I start closing it without a bit, the ratcheting mechanism kicks in right away, then I have to close again for it to release the ratcheting then I can close it freely , is that normal? 2.- Switching from speed 1 to 2 sometimes the switch moves half way and sometimes moves all the way, I have to move it back to 1 then 2, push the trigger and try again then it engages to the speed, it does that from 1 -2 or 2 -1, both ways, is that normal operation? This is the second drill I got, the first had the same symptoms so I exchange it but the second one has the same so I'm starting to wonder if that's normal or not? Any suggestions?
