You can not legally install MS Office for free. I suggest free alternative LibreOffice. It is Office suit from OpenOffice Sun's code. After Oracle buy Sun (JAVA...) develop of OpenOffice was not so fast, and LibreOffice was born. All linux distribution will have LibreOffice like default office program. Its files are just zip files with XML code inside (every new browser can show some part of it). It is half size of doc or xls files. If something go wrong, you can always rename to zip, and go into file with lot of zip reader (doc and xls are encrypted). You has possibility for saving in Microsoft format (doc, xls). Microsoft try to copy this XML file system coding, and create new format docx, xlsx... It is not hard to try, and it is free. And every new version will be free.
Run a full virus scan first. Get a few different spyware and malware detector programs and run them. Also get a registry cleaner. You probably picked up a trojan that just messes with you.
you should be able to uninstall SP by going into add/remove programs make sure show updates is checked, drill down to "Windows XP Service Pack 3" and remove..I'd also dump IE8..been known be a problem as well

since start aug 23 2009 wenever i switch on my pc the welcum screen appears and den on it a
dialog box appears as ur copy of windows didnt pass genuine windows
validation and u may b a victim os software counterfeiting and der r 2
options "resolve now" or "resolve later".
so as i click on resolve now my screen bcums black(wallpaper) and at
the right hand corner the dialog blog consists of ur windows did not
pass genuine windows and that stuff
but i dont wanna install new software just want to get rid of tht **** pls pls pls pls help its freaking me man????
