These cameras need good batteries. Make sure you either are using quality Alkaline batteries or NiMH rechargeable.

Testimonial: "Thank you for your answer but a used several good and new are rechargable battaries. The same where i in the beginning never have problems with. I think the camera is damaged???"

SOURCE: Low Battery Power

Clean battery contact on the cover and if possible on the far side of the battery compartment (spring and metal connector). You can use fine abrasive such as 3m or scotchbrite. Oxidation buildup increases the reistance and the camera ' thinks' that the battery is depleted.

Why doesn't it recognize the correct battery?

hi,
If your camera do not recognize the original battery, it means some wrong information is stored in its software data, to override this please open the camera take out the small memory backup lithium battery, short the battery contact , after a five minutes connect that battery again.

Where do you put 3 AA batteries in the Disney Pix Click Wizards of Waverly Place digital camera? I can only find location to put 2 AA... and camera will not work.

  • They all seem to go in the same place. - some only seem to use two - this one uses three

The camera is powered by 3 AA batteries. Only use the battery specified by the manufacturer.
  1. Lift the rubber USB interface cover on the bottom of the camera and gently press the lever to the left.
  2. Lift the faceplate off completely and place it to the side of the camera.
  3. Insert the batteries using the battery polarity symbols (+/-) as a guide.
  4. Replace the faceplate by gently placing it back on the camera body.
  5. Replace the rubber USB cable connection cover on the bottom of the camera.
  6. Turn the camera on by pressing the Power button. To turn the camera off, press the Power button again.
  7. Note: If the camera is not used for one minute, it will automatically shut down. To restart the camera, press the Power button.

Low Batterie Sign

I had the same prolem. OK, try this. Try to discharge the AA batteries in some use, flashlight or else,,,,then recharge them, full charge, install the batteriers ...they should work fine....
I read somewhere that canon is able free of charge to correct a shortcircuit that the camera is susceptible to develop in the installation of batteries......But I hope the advise will work...
Remove batteries when not in use.

Olympus c-160 battery problem

Check your user manual to see exactly what type of batteries you can use. Not all AA batteries will work in all digital cameras. Some require a specific brand of batteries or specific number, even though, they may be physically the same size. Hope this helps :)
