-   I am trying to play my i pod through the headphone jack. To plug in the 3.5 mm wire into the boom box I got an adapter. I selected the video/aux button and it did not play. This should work shouldn't it? -   goldglove33

hopefully u didnt get the male 1/8"-male 1/8" adapter (aka.. headphone-headphone sized jack)

..what u need is the headphone sized jack (that plugs into your ipod) with an end that is RCA stereo (red n white) these go in the back of the stereo...

hook everything up, and voila...

(no need to tell u what u already know, as far as pressin aux.. and all that..)
