Question about Samsung SGH-D900 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Continuous Limited Service display

Used the phone to text last week. When I next checked the phone, had 'Limited Service' displayed. The signal is on full signal, but the phone logo has a red line through it. Have powered it off/taken the battery out, used another sim card - but none work. When powering hte phone up it comes up with 'searching' and then goes straight to 'limited service'. Have taken out memory card also. Can access the MP3 etc but nothing that requires a signal (text, calling etc).

My new sony ericsson c 510 phone is brand new.i am used it 2 month.last week some times display inactive sim and not work phone.some time work calling the phone cut the line beep tone.display inactive sim...

Inactive sim is usually related to your SIM Card, you should try reinserting your SIM card again, to see if it works, or simply insert your current SIM card into another phone to check if there is any service. should both failed. It should be your SIM card problem, you can contact your service provider or carrier to have a replacement SIM.

Limited service

if you are not getting signal in some areas then your cellphone will display as "limited service" and sometimes when you come to the area where there is signal then also it display "limited service"..
if so try giving "restore factory settings"("reset") the firmware might have got corrupted .. by giving the "restore factory settings"("reset") the firmware problems will be fixed ..

after you press "restore factory settings"("reset") it may ask for the "security code"("password") give that ...
after you perform the reset restart your phone once ...

if you still persist the same problem then the network antenna(network pin) inside the phone is in loose contact it might not be touching the motherboard of the cell correctly so if you are good at opening then just open the handset and fix it correctly you problem will be fixed ...

any doubts you can reply me

have a nice day

Display Screen Not Working

I suspect the ribbon wire is the problem. It is the wire that connects the display to the main board where the keypad is. That explains why it would not display. Take your phone to an authorized technician and have its ribbon wire replaced. I hope this helps... ^_^
