Had a similar problem with mine, I had corrupted drivers. I recommend you uninstall all of the HP stuff in your computer-then go to HP.COM in Support you'll find Downloads and Drivers, the dot in the radio dial, office jet 960c in blank slot just below that. It will wisk you away to you driver, unless you like HP fancy packages of goodies, I would just look for driver, download them and install...I' ll just bet your printer will work just fine.
Good luck my friend, please leave a rating, thank you kindly

Thank you for the rating and the comment as to what happened that it didn't fix it. Perhaps if you provide more information, like error reports as well as the physical problems someone else with knowledge on the subject may be able to help. I didn't mean to waiste your time.

Prints on partial page of an 81/2 x 11 photo paper. Prints OK letters fm word.

Instead of using the Letter or factory 8 1/2 x 11 page set up, create a custom page size for 8 1/2x11 and use that in your app for the page set up. Double check your page orientation and the size of the photo you are printing. It sounds like it may be trying to tile the photo because it's too large for the page size.

How do i remove the ink cartridge ?

Turn on the unit, then open the print-carriage access door by lifting

the handle until the door locks into place.

The print carriage moves to the center of the unit.

You may want to use a photo print cartridge for

superior print quality when printing photos. With the

color and photo print cartridges installed, you have

a six-ink system. See how to print the best quality

photos on page 22 for more information.

2 After the carriage stops moving, lift the latch to release the print

cartridge, then pull it toward you out of its slot.

3 If you are removing the black print cartridge in order to install the

photo print cartridge, store it in the print cartridge protector.

4 Remove the new print cartridge from its packaging and, being careful

to touch only the black plastic, gently remove the plastic tape.

Caution! Do not touch the copper contacts or ink nozzles.

5 Push the new print cartridge into the appropriate slot until it clicks into

place.
The tri-color print cartridge goes on the left and the black or photo
print cartridge goes on the right.

MY printer stopped working from on day to the next...the problem is when I print out a photo from IPhoto or Preview on my IMac OSX10.4.11 it starts with a large margin which doesn't allow for the complete...

Hello

Large photos are printed differently than regular photos.

Photos that have large resolutions or are best when printed in larger sizes are sometimes printed on multiple pages. Printing the photo on two or more pages requires setting up the printing options so that the printer recognizes how the photo should print and which areas to stop printing on each page.

Open the photo in iphoto

Select "File" and scroll down the list until reaching "Print". Click on "Print" and wait for the printing set up options. Some programs require selecting "Set up" or "Print set up" instead of "Print." Make sure the set up options are brought up according to the program.

Select "Time Imageable Table" or similar options in the program. If there is not an option with a similar title, look over the various titles and any pictures that come with the titles and see if the pictures show multiple pages or only a single page. Click on the options that allow printing one photo on multiple pages.

Select overlap options, which give margins so that connecting the pages forms the picture. Overlap around 1/2 inch or so.

Print the photo. The number of pages should match the set up options selected under the imageable table.

Printing 2 and runs off page

check your print settings before you print anything. the left margin might be from the ink cartridge not going all the way over or it could be blocked by something. have you tried printing on just the internet alone? or have you tried printing on wordpad too?

Printing out thepictures

Try printing the picture from another program. Or with less resolution.
If that doesn't work, try reinstalling the printer and downloading the latest drivers from the HP website.
