Dell print font too small - Dell 924 All-in-One InkJet Printer

Follow these instructions to change your font size.

1. Sign on to AOL and visit AOL Keyword: Preferences.

2. On AOL , click Font & Text Settings. On older versions of AOL, click Font, Text & Graphics.

3. Under the Font Preferences heading, select your preferred font, text size and color for writing email, Instant Messages and chat.

4. Under the Text Preferences heading, select your preferred size for viewing text from other people: Small, Medium or Large.

5. Click Save.

The font on the paper depends entirely on the source, if you are printing from a email, the font may be small on that message.

I'd suggest that you take the text that you want to print, copy it, then open a text editor or word, word pad or similar.

Paste the text there, and then select it all, change the font size to a bigger value, then print it out and see what it looks like.

As far as I know there is no font setting in any printer, it entirely depends on the source. if the source is small the printout will be small.

the size is determined by the document itself...If you click on preview on files ..you will see how large they will be ..In this window ..click on shrink to fit..if you wan to print it that way ..or ..on the document itself ..change the font's size ...This will probably lead to split it in 2 sheets if the new size will not fit one page
if you are printing from a test doc..just change teh font ..if you operate on word..select the whole written text ..and change the size in the font bar

Printing is a function of the software that you are using. If for instance you are using Word, you change the print size by clicking on the font size feature. Usually a small window up in the right corner on the tool bar indicates the size of the font, but there are other ways of getting to it. The number lower means smaller, for instance 12 is normal print where 25 is very very large. look around on your printing software.

go to the propities printer, when you clikc print go to settings, find font settings and enlarge there is an option the option says enlarge font and then go to priview print, if you see any problem again , in priview settings you can change the margens, click on margen and change the page size and try to print

The font size is set in your printing/ viewing software and not the printer. If it's Adobe you open the document and make changes before printing. If it's an internet document you need to resize in the internet tools section.

I'd suggest reinstalling your printer driver.

But, there are known problems with IE8. I would suggest uninstalling IE8:

Does it happen while printing from all the applications or from only any particular appication or from e-mail/web printing ?

Click Start (Windows Icon) - Printers Folder

Right click on the printer icon Officejet 5600 series and select properties. Click on the Advanced Tab. Enable the option Print Directly to printer. click Apply and OK. Check for the result.
