Problem for Aiwa CDC-X204 CD Player

Whenever I push the next button on or any button on my Aiwa CDC X204 receiver it doesn't respond at all. Is it that just the faceplate has gone bad or is my entire head unit bad?

check wiring to make sure all wires r properly connected, sounds like a power problem . if it is an expensive radio and it is broken then its probably worth fixing.if its a cheepie than chunk it and get a new one
