IPC laptop screen goes blank after booting up. I want to use dual display on both the laptop and the whiteboard as I always do. The screen loads ok onto the whiteboard but not on the laptop! Steps I have taken include: Have tried the function key and F5 to send display back to laptop but nothing seems to work. I have changed the boot-up sequence in BIOS which is now - 1st boot from HD, 2nd from CD-ROM, 3rd from A:// and 4th from Network. I do not have an IPC manual! Help please :-)
Hi, Boot to windows, using whatever screen you can (external or lcd, whatever is presently working) Right click anywhere on the screen and go to properties (far right tab) you should see icons of two screens, and below that a button labeled "identify". Click on that button and see which screen is assigned number 1 and number 2. You can configure the display properties here, assigning primary and secondary screens, or sharing your desktop with each. Good luck
All your doing in the bios is changing the boot up sequence to the drives?. If it was FN key and F5 similtaneously then Im baffled. In my machine its the FN and F4 together or at the same time and the screen goes back and forwards or both stay on.
