I have the same problem.
After coping files to pen drive (Kingston 8gb) some of the files get corrupted, and if i create a folder on pen drive it some set of files get created into the folder automatically, I can't delete those files.
I tried formatting the pen drive but it was not helpful
please help me

Thanks
Dev

windows cannot formate this drive. Quit anydisk utilities or other programs that are using this drive and make sure that no windows is displaying the contents of the drive. then try formatting again.

Write delay failed...

That is a sign of corrupted memory. Try to run a scan disk on it.

Assumed: Drive letter for the pen drive is G: (If it is not f then replace G with the correct drive letter)

Start > Run > CMD (Click ok, if done proper you will get a black box)
in the black box type in:
 chkdsk f: /f /r /x
It will really look something like this
C:\Documents and settings\Administrator\chkdsk G: /f /r /x

After typing f:/f//r/x the message displays the type of the file is RAW.
CHKDSK is not avalilabe for RAW Devices
