Today I noticed my refrigerator temp was rising. I cleaned out the bottom coild (some dog hair) and thought that might help. It didn't. I calld Sears and the soonest they can get anyone out here is in like a week. Right now the Frezer temp is about 15 and the fridge is about 65-70. Is there any thing that I can try to do to at least help meuntil the repair guy gets here>>

- Ok. THe repair guy ended up being able to make it today. The fan from the evaporator that blows cold air from the frezer to the Refrigerator was shot. Thank god that I got the extended waranty. 200 dollars, but didn;'t cost me a dime. As for all the food that went bad, my insurance company is re-embursting me (no deductable) or I could have claimed one through the company that I got the fridge through.Same Problem

if there is frost on the back wall of the freezer than its iced over (the automatic defrost cycle has failed) turn off the fridge for 18-24 hrs with freezer door open and the ice will melt and it will begin to cool again. It takes a long time for the ice behind the back wall to thouruoghly melt, if it isnt all the way defrosted you will end up with soild ice insead of frost and that will take even longer to thaw
