Try pushing in the 2 small round buttons at the bottom of the base and pull up. That should do it.

sFirst give the female part a good clean out with hot water and floss the little slits, then squeeze it in with a pair of plyers. not too much or it'll get too tight.

mine just broke as well the hand blener is working but the piece on top of the inside lide broke off so as not to make a good attachment with handle where can i geta lid

The B blade is the one to use - the B blade is the one with the "holes" in it.
