Battery replacement now hands don't move.

I have a Benrus Advance and a Tissot Seastar. Both are quartz watches. I replaced the batteries in both today and The digital portion of the Benrus is working but the analog hands don't move. The tissot is only is analog only and I can't get the hands to move.
