Same problem! CT-36SL13. 5 1/2 years old. Turned off last night, this morning NOTHING! WHERE is the fuse located? I took off the back but could not find it.

Same problem, same set CT36SL13. Went to turn it on today, will not power up. Working fine up to today. Unplugged for an hour, no change.

    1. Push the power button, hear some sound (from relays?), the light is on, hear some sound again, the power is off.

    2. Push the power button, no response.

    3. Pull the power cord off, put it back.

    4. Repeat step 1.

Checked the fuse inside the TV. It is ok.

    Please help. Thanks

Exact same problem. Worked great then not at all.

Someone mentioned replacing the fuse? Where is this located an can it be done by a non-tech?

I came home today and found that My TV would not power on. I checked the power line and it was fine. The set would no power on with the remote or when the power button is pressed. Is there a possible solution?

I bought the fuse at Radio Shack for 5 dollars and replaced the fuse myself. The set now works fine. It cost me more in the gas to go and get the fuse than the entire repair cost. There are screws on the back of the tv that you will need to remove. Once you remove the screws you will need to PARTIALLY remove the back cover. It was not necessary to remove the entire back cover. If you look into the back where the power enters the television you will see the fuse. It is small, so look carefully. MAKE SURE THAT YOUR TELEVISION IS UNPLUGGED! I repeat. MAKE SURE THAT YOUR TELEVISION IS UNPLUGGED! Pull the old fuse and replace it with the new. Cost me about $10 total.

Same problem. I have the CT-32HXC14. I agree, you need a crane to move this thing!

32'' Panasonic television. Power switch does not turn the set on.

1 It appears that connecting cable is faulty. Normally when you connect and push the power switch the standby light should lit. Try the cable on another appliance and see its function. Also switch on the TV and try to switch it on with your remote control.

Tv won't turn on at all

no remote but tv was working with front power key? unplug from ac outlet and plug back and listen for any type of indication (noise or chirp) that something energizes inside if theres nothing then suspect a power supply problem, main fuse blown, shorted low volt rectifiers other components could be at fault.

Tv wont turn on

take your tv to technician who can check your power supply, if your power is coming on and off, than a problem is not as big. firstly let him check a ht of a supply constantly, your supply is cutting.
