When trying to print message appears DLBCGF.DLL was not found, re-installing app may help . I have done nothing different to my printer when this started to appear and now i can not print

Hi,

The issue you have posted does require some more information to isolate the issue and fix it, information like was the printer working fine earlier and was it installed on the same computer that you are installing it now, did you up-grade your systems operating system, what is the operating system that is installed on your computer and so on, however let me give you few steps that could fix the issue with the best of my expertise’s according to the error message that you have posted. I would appreciate if you could perform them to fix the issue.

  1. Disconnect the printer for the system tower.
  2. Click on start point to control panel and click on it.
  3. Click on Add/Remove software icon.
  4. Locate the printer All In software in the list of soft wares’ displayed and click on it and then click on remove.
Alternately you can also uninstall the printer using the Printer All in disk installation wizard.
  1. Close the Add/Remove window and in then locate the System icon in the control panel and click on it.
  2. Select the hardware option at the top
  3. Click on device manage.
  4. Locate other the option devices if present and check if there is a yellow ! mark. Right click on the other devices with the yellow ! mark and left click on uninstall.
  5. Close all the windows and then insert the Printer All in one disk in the Disk drive (CD/DVD ROM).
  6. Once the installation wizard is up click on install and follows the onscreen instructions.

Note: Please do not connect your printer to the system tower until the installation wizard prompts you to do so.

11. After the installation is finished restart the computer.

Did you use original inks or refilled/generic? Nowadays printer companies are resorting to these dirty tricks to ensure customers only buy their original cartridges.

If you have used a refilled/generic try replacing it with an original one and see if the issue is resolved.

If that doesn't work, try a hard reset. Unplug printer from wall socket and PC, wait about 2 minutes and reinstall.

You can also try doing a clean install as outlined here.
(Just replace the camera in the document with printer. Its the same procedure. If you are using an OS other than XP, please post back and I will give instructions for that OS.)

This is a usual problem whit this model of printer, i had been thru this three times already.
In my case, the printer stops completely halfway printing and shows "Hardware error 502", i found that is because the optical sensor strip is dirty, first you should try to clean it with out removing it form the printer, to do this you should:

(The optical sensor strip its an nearly transparent plastic strip behind the print head, if you look closely it has very thin lines painted on it, this is used by the printer to measure the movement of the print head)

1- Print something to case the hardware error and shut it down immediately
2- Disconect the printer
3- Lift the scaner part of if, as you do when adding ink.
4- Look where the print head (the ink cartiges) is, this is where the stain is
5- Get the print head out of the way (just slide it left or right)
5- Use a soft cloth with little water to try to clean it, if it doesn't work try isoplopile alcohol because sometimes the stain is ink and is very hard to remove
6- Try print again and repeat as necesary

if you can't clean it this way you must remove the strip and clean it.

(You must have plenty of time and patience to try this, or you can dissasembly the printer entirely if you want to re lubricate or something)

1- Move the printer head all the way left, and with some pointy object pull the metallic wire holding the the strip at the right edge (flashlight very usefull), it's marked with and "D", remember that.

2- Move the printer head to the right and remove the plastic strip (this side is very easy), it's marked with an inverted "F" (it's on the other side) and an arrow indicating the up direction

3- Inspect how dirty is the strip and clean it the way you want (not so aggresively, the strip hasn't the fault)

4- Put again the left side of the strip and make it pass behind the print head

5- Move the print head to the left

6- Put the right side of the strip whatever you can, this is a very tedious process because the reduced space available, remember to keep the left side in place, because it's impossible to put the right side first.

7- Re connect and power on your printer, if it immediately gives hardware error 502, the strip is misplaced, move it a little up, down, backward an forward trying to get in place and try again, or consult the respective solution en this website.

8- If you can turn on the printer it should print now, try it, if it works, Congrats!

SOURCE: Nothing appearing on paper when I am printing

on the cartridge there is a circuit if the circuit is faulty then the cartridge will not print.let there is plentty ink but due to faulty circuit it will not print.another problem is the printer driver is got corrupted so reload the driver and check out. also try giving out printer test page from pc and check out. if the circuit is faulty cartridge has to be replaced.

Most of the offered solutions I've found appear to be workarounds I thought I'd post what fixed the issue for us - there is a hotfix for Windows Fax and Scan which apparently replaces the DLL file(s) causing this problem.
We're seeing the issue in Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 (32 and 64bit) and running IE9 32bit. Install the hotfix as appropriate for your system and reboot. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2647169

Try the solution from HP.
Solution one: Restart the computer
  1. Turn off the product.
  2. Restart the computer.
  3. Turn on the product.
  4. Use the HP software CD or the downloaded software file to install the HP Software.
Solution two: Register VBSCRIPT.DLL
  1. Search for the VBSCRIPT.DLL file on the computer. It is usually located in the C:\Windows\System32 folder.
  2. Click the Start icon (c01319360.gif ) , click All Programs , and then click Accessories .
  3. Right-click Command Prompt , then click Run as Administrator .
  4. In the command prompt, type CD C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 . If the VBSCRIPT.DLL file is located in a different folder, use the appropriate folder location.
  5. Press the Enter key.
  6. Click Continue in the window that appears on the computer.
  7. Type REGSVR32 VBSCRIPT.DLL in the command prompt and press Enter . A message appears on the computer indicating that VBSCRIPT has been installed successfully.
  8. Use the HP software CD or the downloaded software file to install the HP Software.
Solution three: Download and install the latest version of the software
  1. Click here to go to the software download page on the HP Web site.

The epson printer driver dealing with cd printing is not installed


# Select Print from the File menu.

If you see the message The Epson Printer Driver dealing with CD printing is not installed, click OK.

# Click Tray, select Tray 2, then click OK.

Note: If Tray 2 is not selected, the CD design will print in the wrong position.

# Click Manual Print.

# Make sure Epson Stylus Photo R(your model) is selected.

# Under Paper, select the following settings:

# Click Properties.

While trying to install my printer I ran into some problems with the print spooler, while trying to fix this problem I get this message displayed RUNDLL Erro loading C:\Windows\System32\xmqlllnu.dll ...


I had a look at dllfiles.com and it doesnt list ur missing dll.
I would suggest getting the latest drivers for your printer, uninstalling the old ones and install the printer again.
If your print spooler is disabled then you might have issues as well. Just make sure the spooler is enabled. Click run then type msconfig and hit enter, under the serices tab make sure that print spooler is checked, spoolsv.exe is the command.

But firstly fix the drivers for the printer cause that looks like a service specific dll thats missing for the printer

ok you might have tried printing a doc/app out earlier and it might have failed so while you trying to print out this present app/doc the printer still might be focused on that failed or it might be confused. Now to stop this follow these instructions. Go to the start bar click control panel. Then once that window pops up ( control panel ) click printers and other hardware. Then once that window pops up ( printers and other hardware ).  Click Printers and faxes and that page will have all the printers and faxes ever installed to your computer. Now click on the printer thats yours and then a smaller wider window will appear you will that window will have all the doc/app you have ever tried printing out. the status bar will show what is going on with each doc/app. Now you should first stop all the doc/apps and refresh. To do this you should highlight all the doc/app and then go into the document tab ( there are several tabs in this window such as document , printer, view and help) then click cancel and cancel all the doc/apps. last step is to go into the view tab and click refresh and it should work :-). If not contact your printer manufactor.

Lexmark z11 Vista Compatible?


Looks like I've cracked it [Touches wooden desk]. Need a USB to IEEE 1284 36-pin Parallel Printer Cable, like the one I received today (ordered yesterday from www.cables2u.co.uk). First, connect it to Z11. Turn on Z11 and boot up Vista PC/laptop. (I run Vista Business on my laptop.) Connect cable to computer. Message appears "Installing device driver software". Click it for status. 'Found New Hardware' box appears. Click 'Locate and install driver software'. A message appears "Error loading LXADSUI.DLL. Specified module could not be found". Click 'OK'. Message appears saying driver software installed successfully. ["Yeah, right ..."] (Have faith, folks!) Now, click Start, then Control Panel and double-click Printers. Right click on Z11 and click on Set As Default Printer. Right click on Z11 again and click on Properties. Check on Ports tab that Port USB is ticked for Z11. On Cartridge Maintenance tab, check right cartridge is showing. If not, click 'Install/Change Cartridge' and follow instructions. Then 'Clean Print Nozzles' and 'Align Cartridges'. Check settings on the other tabs in Properties look OK and try printing a test page! It looks good to me!
