Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player

Cant get my mp3 player to work,

Ok, while i was at a friends house i wanted to see if i could use my sansa e250 with an ipod dock (stupid eh?). So, I thought the connection looked the same so i tried it and it didnt work. After that i tried turning it on and it said that i needed to remove 6mbs of content, but it was only half full. i tried again and it didnt turn on. When i got home i tried pluggin it in to my computer but it still wont turn on and my computer doestn recognize it. Anyone know anything helpfull?

Try this ... Turn off the player. Make sure that when connecting the cord to the player you hear a "Click" confirming that the cord is securely plugged into the player. Put the Hold switch in the "Hold" position so you see the orange color on it. Hold the Record button on the side while pressing the power button. This brings you into recovery mode. This is where you can use the REcovery Tool from the Sandisk website to format and wipe the player to its original status. If the Recovery Tool does not work, then you must use the Firmware Updater tool, also on the Sandisk site.
