Drum Unit is not cleaning.
Either is not producing the right charge in the corona wires
your wiper blade is not functioning or the roller speed/ fuser speed is not correct

easiest solution clean drum with dry cloth
order maintence kit and replace rollers
next order new drum unit
order new fuser

SOURCE: Printed paper is creased

First thing to check is try it with a fresh unopened ream of quality paper, paper with too much moisture content, drys out and goes wavy when it runs threw the fuser roller at rear (180 deg), otherwise it will be the fuser rollers themselves causing your problem, which means that you need to replace fuser assy

Re Replace toner message.

Do an information print (MENU, ENTER, ENTER)
This will tell you the pagecount of the various units of the printer

Imaging Unit (Drum)
Transfer Belt (ITB)
Transfer roller
Fuser
Toner Cartridges

etc

The counter for the Cyan toner will simlpy indicate that this is near, at, or over the 'capacity' for this cartridge.

There are
1.5k colour and 2k black 'starter' cartridges
2k colour and 3k black 'standard' cartridges
and
5k colour and 7k black 'high capacity' cartridges.

NOTE even if you only have a single dot of (say) cyan on a page, the counter for that colour will be increased by 1 when that page is printed. 'Empty' cartridges are often far from empty in reality, ans there is no toner sensor, just the counter, which is reset when you install a new cartridge.

The missing print on one side of the reverse side of duplex printed pages is quie a puzzle, as the duplexer simply turns the paper over and presents it to the transferbelt and transfer roller for the second side.

Check the transfer roller is in place properly (open the duplex door - black foam roller A4 width with purple plastic tab on one end black on the other).

Is the duplex door fitted correctly, does it close correctly ?

SOURCE: Printouts have type ghosting

Change the fuser unit if you have to hand. The problem is likely caused by a lack of pressure from the pressure roller. Also check the transfer roller for a similar ghost image.

You should clean the printer's drum and/or re-insert the tuner back in it's place.

What is the cause of characterized printout. When I printout a test page, it just prints all sort of digits and numerals in no chronological order. What is the cause, is it the motherboard??

A print test page does just that the printer will print every character that is in its memory, together with lines and if it has colours will also use the different colours

How do I prevent my HP 1600 LaserJet from leaving a shadow of printing on the page?

Run 30-40 blank pages through it to take the image off the belt.
Go to Word or another WP program, call up a blank page and print it 30-40 times.

When printing a new page I get a "shadow like"

Hi,

Clean the print heads by performing a head cleaning followed by printing a nozzle check pattern. A head cleaning and nozzle check must be performed as a cycle. After printing a nozzle check, examine the printed dot pattern. Each staggered horizontal and straight vertical line should be complete, with no gaps in the dot pattern. If there are gaps in the dot pattern, continue with another cycle. Performing up to 6 cleaning cycles is not uncommon if the print heads are severly clogged.

Hope this helps.

When i am giving a single page printout it will printout another copy of blankpage

Please open the document, There is probably a second page added to your word document.

Open the file, go to page 2, press backspace.

When you select print option, now check how many pages its showing for printout.

If its showing one page then your file is perfect now.
