i set the wash programethen press the start button and nothing happens. There is nothing wrong with the water inlet or the electric.

once you have checked the door is shut properly, then i would start with the door interlock, DO NOT test by bypassing this can cause serious damage to the timer, replace if needed and work with safety unplug from power supply before removing any item taking note in detail of any wires etc
