Hdmi not working

I get a black screen whenever I hook up my hdmi cable from my tv to my att uverse box. I've tried hooking it up through my denon receiver like how I initially had it set up but that no longer works. The av cable connection still works. Can you help me?

I've switched out hdmi cables and tried all the hdmi ports but it is still a black screen. Ive put the att uverse box on my other sharp tv and the hdmi works fine.

OK, well we know we have a "known good" device, so the issue has to be with your TV. Do you have ANY HDMI devices that still work with that TV?

I don't know the particular system that you are using, but it could be a setting in "options" that is preventing you from using HDMI. It is also possible that your HDMI cable is broken or incompatible in some way.

RE: Denon AVR 3300 - I cannot get the system setup menu to display on Phillips P50PFP5332D tv screen? All connected components work and sound great, but I cannot see Denon's Setup menu on tv to a

I understand, it's something I've misunderstood on my denon avr-790 as well when connected to a samsung 8000 series led tv.
The answer isn't in the receiver's settings (you can be on whatever source you want on the receiver end when toggling the menu). You need to toggle through the tv's sources to find the menu (usually found on hdmi 1). I've spent towards an hour recently troubleshooting only to find that it was the tv's source that wasn't set properly and I was trying to change the receiver's settings instead of the tv's source.
Hope that helps!

Att uverse receiver hooked up to sharp aquos tv, remote quits

first try new batteries and be sure you have pressed the AT&T mode button at the top left of the remote - if you still have issues then on the sharp tv menu - turn off any energy saver mode, Optical Picture Control, taking the picture mode from dynamic or vivid to standard, and if that doesn't work - try changing the backlight settings if your tv has one.

Best way to hook up all my componets

The best way to use the Denon and get your money's worth is to connect all devices to the Denon using HDMI connects if possible, if you use HDMI make sure you assign the audio if needed.
HDMI from Denon to TV. the Denon will upconvert all signals to HDMI to the TV

Denon avr-1909 crackling sound while watching Uverse HD.

It may may the the AT+T box is really not compatible with the AVR or the Pioneer.

Check the specs on those input/outputs for the Ubox and the receiver.
See if they agree. If so, try another hookup method like HDMI ( which carries the audio too)
