It probably has a line clogged. It could be from backed up milk, but also could be the water you're using. Those things are finicky about have filtered water, especially because when the water heats up it can deposit calcium etc. onto the inner water lines. Only use store bought filtered water.

SOURCE: i have a expresso machine

The steaming wand's tip gets gunked up with milk so make sure to clear that with a needle first. Make sure the machine is fully heated before using the stream function (should have an indicator light). Typically this model will expel water first, then a low pressure steam. After about 30 - 40 seconds it should produce meduim pressure steam. Make sure the pump is making the proper clunk, clunk sound or it could be failing. Also, the steam wand arm may be obstructed and descaler solution will have to be used to remove the deposits. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Frothing of Milk

I simply use a needle on mine. I don't believe the upper section gets blocked unless you have hard water. Then you will have to go with a descaler solution.

SOURCE: Too much water coming out of steam wand

I noticed the wand squirts hot water at first befor the steam comes out, sometimes for quite a while, so grab a bowl or something and let the water drain out until the steam comes and then put it in the milk. This is what I do and it makes awesome frothy steammed milk.
Good luck and enjoy.

My nespresso machine won't froth the milk

Brand of milk definitely matters... Here in Canada I used Sealtest 1% when I first used it and the froth was thick light and luxurious. Then one week picked up Neilsen 1% and found it produced absolutely ZERO froth. Back to Sealtest...back to froth. Milk brand matters....but don't know why.

The frother doesn't froth. I start with cold milk fill it to the hot froth line and push. The red circle lights up and whirls around, but when it stops there is no froth

I have tried tilting mine slightly, just a 20c peice under one edge of the base put enough of a lean on it to make the milk froth. Shouldn't have to do this, I know. I am having similar issues becasue I don't think I should have to alter the unit. Mine is 2 weeks old.

The steam wand is bubbling the milk, not frothing

THere is a little black tube inside - make sure its pushed out enough - about 1/16 an inch from the bottom. And you may have to clean it out. Happens to us too and after I do the above it works

Aeroccino deosn't make froth

Our aeroccino worked fine for 2 years and suddenly it didn't made foam anymore. We tried the "inverting trick" without much success. We contacted Nespresso and they suggested switching from regular fresh milk (we used 2%) to UHT milk (harder to find in US) and to use it cold and freshly opened. So we tried that and it works.
Hope this solution works for you too

Saeco Talea Giro no steam or water from spout

I have the same problem as well, talked to a repair shop and it's definitely a "send in" or warranty repair. I was told it's an o-ring issue. I have no water coming out of the steam wand and it goes into the dispense tray instead.

Milk froths at 1st then doesn't after 1 week

Ensure first that you are using the steam pipe in the correct way to froth the milk.

If it still does not work, that means that the steamer is not generating enough pressure steam.

This happens either because there is not enough heat, or if you release the steam when pressure is not enough.

If you think you are doing everything in the right way, then contact the company and insist for having the machine fixed or replaced.
