Question about Sony KP-53S65 53" Rear Projection Television

Hello, My problem seems simple enough; just that I am not sure if the solution is also equally simple. I have this TV for 3 plus years, and lately it just doesn't start. The standby light flashes 10 times before it pauses. I am told this is to with a power problem. I have unplugged the TV a few times and it used to start again, but now even this doesn't seem to work. Please help. Cheers

You may need to replace the run capacitor with one of equal values. If the breaker trips, ohm the compressor.

Hello,

Well 245 times 0.947 equals 232.015.

Is that close enough?

(approx. 95%)

It seems to have botched your sign before the =3 but lets say that you used "less than" or equal to 3.

(if you used Greater Than, then simply replace "less than" with "greater than" in the example here)

The easiest thing to do is subtract 1/2 no matter what and then say if month is less than or equal to 3 then add 1.

this way, if the month is NOT less or equal to 3, it has already subtracted 1/2, satisfying the "if not" part.

If the month IS less or equal, it adds 1 which compensates for the 1/2 we already subtracted, plus another 1/2 giving an end result of plus 1/2.

This makes it a simple, single if statement that is satisfied in the other direction without having to overcomplicate the issue.

8 plus (-2) equals 6

6 plus 11 equals 17

17 plus 18 equals 35

35 plus (-5) equals 30

30 plus 41 equals 71

71 plus X equals Y

Y plus Z equals 143

Not much of a pattern in the "differences".

8, 17, 30, X

6, 35, 71, 143

No pattern there.

8, 6, 17

35, 30, 71

X, 143, Y

8 + 6 + (3) = 17

35 + 30 + (6) = 71

No pattern there.

Do you need help doing your homework?

If so, here's a first attempt. It may be correct, and it may not be.

It's up to you to understand the process, and to make any needed corrections.

X minus 11 equals Y.

So, X is larger than Y.

So, 3 times X minus 33 equals 3 times Y.

Thus 3 times X equals 3 times Y plus 33.

Also, 3 times X minus 4 equals 4 times Y.

So, (3 times Y plus 33) minus 4 equals 4 times Y.

Thus 0 times Y plus 29 equals 1 times Y.

So, Y equals -27.

X = 3 (

10x minus 3x equals 20 plus 1

10X minus 3X is 7X (right?)

20 plus 1 is 21 (right?)

therefore:

7X = 21

now divide both sides of the equals sign by 7

7X divided by 7 equals 21 divided by 7

7X / 7 = 21/7

X = 3 (

Hello,

Since you know about the catalog, that is where you find the equal sign, near the bottom of the list. It is faster if you scroll up from abs(.

If you can hear sound and the sound coems from your TV, try changing the volume with teh TV remote control. Your TV isn't off it is still on. Just the video board or portion is cutting out. this could be a ton of things, I would try changing out the power strip or plugging the tv into the wall directly to make sure it has enough power. other then that you can try a home brew solution like putting a fan next to your tv to cool the component that seems to be overheating and shutting down your picture.

Enter the fraction for example: enter 8/12.

The answer will be .666666

Then click Math (which is located under the Alpha button).

Click the ->Frac button (the first one).

It should come up as Ans->Frac.

Click Enter.

It should now read 2/3 which is 8/12 reduced.

Note: I have a TI-84 Plus Silver Edition, and the TI-84 Plus might not have this function, but that is how I do it on my TI-84 Plus Silver Edition
