-   I have a Hotpiont WF860 washer, the back does not come off fully just to make life harder!! I am trying to place the belt back on using broot forse and a screw driver..but with no joy....do I need a special tool???-   Lottiex

some machines have stretch belts and are difficult to place,

if you have the right belt for the model then its just persistence, believe me we as engineers have same trouble (if we are honest)
