I fix laptops and when I get an Acer laptop locked with an unknown bios password I use www.unlockbiosrecovery.com to get the bios master password for only $20 which clears any set bios password and they guarantee it to work. I have unlocked a dozen or so Acver laptops with unlockbiosrecovery.com bios password recovery service.
With this utility you should be able to FLASH BIOS to factory default and enter BIOS without password. Be extremely careful to follow the steps exactly, because one false move and your system could be rendered useless.
hi there this can be a fairly easy one to fix ,,again if you know how but have a look at this link and read the first page it may help you http://www.topbits.com/reset-bios-password.html it helped me!!!
Please download the BIOS update utility from the following web site. You need to select you machine model number under BIOS button u can get the utility to download.
Hi there. After using killcmos you should have updated the bios straight away, this is because you have wiped all the bios settings. As soon as you restarted the laptop you effectively killed the computer, getting it recovered can now prove near impossible. The only option you have left now is to locate the bios battery, remove it for an hour to see if the bios resets, other than that Acer may be able to help.
