Once u have the music on the card, first off make sure the card is compatible to your phone. Ok before u put the music on your card make sure you place the mp3 files into the mp3 folder. Once u do this u should be able to press the mp3 button on the right side of the phone and the songs should pop up! Hope this worked for you.

I Keep getting "playback error" "format not supported" on lgcf360

Hello All, I think I may have a solution for the 'Playback Error'problem with the LG CF360. Below, I have put the steps that caused my phone tohave the error and then the steps I took to get rid of the error. Firstly, my CF 360 worked well for hours of playing songswithout any error. Then, after I did the following steps, the error happenedover and over.
  • I pushed a mp3 ring tone via blue tooth to the phone with the SD card in. It saved the ring tone in the SD card, but I wanted it on the phone in case the card was out, it would still ring.
  • I took out the SD card and pushed the same file to the phone, so it would save on the phone and not the SD card.
  • I also pushed another mp3 to the phone.
Then, the "Playback error" happened intermittently every fewminutes. This may have been caused by either
  1. The phone's library of mp3's being corrupted because of the same file in two locations, or
  2. The phone's physical memory getting too low to effectively play music.
Here are the steps I took that got rid of the error.
  • Delete the duplicate mp3 from the SD card
  • Move all music mp3's to the SD card and off of the phone.
  • Move some pictures to the SD and off of the phone.
  • Shut off phone
  • Take out SD card.
  • Turn on phone and try to play a playlist of songs that were on the SD card (causes the phone not find the file and update the music library)
  • Put in SD card while the phone is on. (causes the phone to re-build the music library).
After I did this, I have played mp3's for hours without anyerrors at all, just like before. Either I had too much stuff on the phone orthe music library was not correct causing the crash. I hope it helps. Mike

I am not getting the music for the sd card to play on the mp3

you have to make sure that the music is in the right format and you have to open the music in the music player menu. i have my songs in wma format and they work fine. also if your phone is not recognizing the sd card then perhaps its an sd card that is not supported by the lg shine. read your manual there is a specific type of card you can and cant use on that phone. the card i have is a sandisk 4gb microSDHC

Micro sd disk

1st - Place the SD card in the phone. Make sure card is not larger than 8gb. 2nd - Adjust the setting to save Pictures, Video, Music to the SD card by going to Settings and tools > Memory > Save Options. 3rd. Remove the SD card from the phone and connect to PC. Now on the PC you will see the phone has created folders for you "Music". 4th - Drag your music files into the correct folders (ie music, pictures, etc). 5th Place SD card back in LG Envy 2 and enjoy the music.

Micro SD card

sharp, you have to format the SD through your phone and then copy the music to the folder provided by the phone for the music. make sure you check the playing / bitrate / file type of audio file that the phone is limited to play.

Saving music on my micro sd..

The only way the music can be played on a cell phone is if it is in mp3 format. you also have to list the songs individually (they cannot be separated into folders). to listen to the music you should have some sort of music player on the phone that will play the songs.
