Re: abit EQ Temperature Monitor

If SpeedFan is showing the correct temp for the same sensor, and that temp varies, then it's an ABit EQ bug. Frankly, I've never been impressed with the latest round of Windows software that ABit/Asus/etc. have been bundling with their motherboards. I suspect they're outsourcing the development, and the programmers are better at "pretty graphics" UI's than solid functionality.

Abit IT7-max2 no video

Check RAM first, Then if that is good the problem is most likely the motherboard, A windows pc will boot and display without graphics specific drivers installed, but only if the motherboard is working. If the ram is good and you can give more info, Does the monitor display the BIOS post screen and booting. ( The name of the mobo and the physical drives in the machine.)

My pc is not showing anything on screen whereas everything is running inside cpu
Thefirst link is Nvdia"s link for driver downloads. The second is Abit's. In nvdia's link I put in you info but you will have to enter what driver(software) and your operating system. Keep in mind that you wil have to uninstall ant prior software related to this board before installing new.
Will the system start in safe mode? If so go to "device manager" through "control panel' and click on box next to "dispaly adaptors" your Nvdia driver should show in the drop down. Right click on that and you should see "enable" or "disable" if you see enable, click n that and you should be set
If you have made any recent changes, ie; cables to monitor, you may ahve to hook system back upthe way it was and do a "system restore back to when it did work.

Abit V17 motherboard no monitor output??????

try vsing another video card, or check in the bios if it will post and see if the onboard video is disabled. if it won't post you either have a bad or mismatched(processor to motherboard) motherboard, processor or video card.

It reads e9 and the users manual doesnt describe what that code means

Abit BD7II Bios E9 description

1. Update CPU Micro Code.
2. Add new options 80?/85?/90? in "CPU Shutdown Temperature".
3. Change the default setting of "CPU Shutdown Temperature" to 85?.
4. BIOS compile date: 07/22/2003.

It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Do not forget to check with our site as often as possible in order to stay updated on the latest drivers, software and games.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed a wrong driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.

Abit IS7-E2 monitor wont display anything

is this a brand new motherboard?
do you have onboard graphics or a card?
without testing i couldnt say for sure but it sounds like you are not getting power to your graphics on motherboard.
this is usally a common issue for asus motherboards. not easy to fix.
if your motherboard is new i suggest a replacement from the seller.

Abit Kg7-Lite motherboard USB2 pin Locations desperately needed!

Lay case down with the bottom in front of you. Looking straight down at the row nearest the case bottom reading right to left there will be two rows of four pins.

Reading right to left the row closets to the case bottom the first lead is vcc1, next usb1-, next usb1+ and grnd1.

Top row reading right to left is vcc2, next usb2-, next usb2+ and grnd2.

I just replaced bad caps on my kg7 and had to remove the motherboard for the repair so I just reinstalled my front case usb ports.

Help this helps.

Connect a vga card on a used a17 mobo

Hi Rafae183, yes, you're board, Abit Al7/Al7-G supports AGP8x/4x speeds & voltage of 0.8v/1.5volts only.
Below is the Abit link for you're board. Listed on the right of the page is product Inf. & support Inf. Suggest you add this to you're favorites.

Suggested any one of these AGP8x speed video cards.

Remember to check for voltage. You're video card must run at 1.5volts only. Warranty's are important too.

Have more questions, feel free to ask.
Best of luck to you!

Abit eq software

Does it vary? If it changes, it's probably a bug. If it stays static, it could be either. Try installing a different version, ask ABit Support, check the forums, etc.
