2005 chrysler 300 limited. Rear PDC fuse #37 (NAG1 transmission control) has no terminals in slot to accept fuse. Why? Where is TCM fuse then?

when did car last run perfect for you, never, or after hacks?
no real problem told ,just a fuse hunt
and you have no service manual, USA car. not told
nor told , what engine is there size, NAG1 is MB trans.
PDC Fuse 37 runs the module transmission control. 15amps fuse
battery the relay transmission drive F37
F37 box is not used for RLE box. just Nag1
F26 is RLE.
so some one put wrong PDC on this car?
or RPO shows 42RLE, coded trans, (GM)
42RLE is GM
NAG1 iS MB , German box
Mercedes NAG1, 722.6, W5A580 ( seen in my Jeep 2010 GC.)

here it is for sure and lots more fuse , not just 1. for trans.
f37-undefined-undefined-0.jpgare you dead sure its NAG1 and not 42RLE box
side of box tells that. TAG.
and VIN code too. has trans code.
ask your FCA dealer for VIN decode for actual transmission installed new

Promote Demote

Hi Dolly,

Thanks for the faith in the old guy :-)

Well, you are right; I do know NT as the back of my hand, as I have had a network with NT for 5 years, until my boss forced me to go Win2003 :-)

You simply remove the PDC (as if it blow up during the night), then you go to the old BDC, and promote this one to be the PDC, and after a few hours (yawn) it’s ready.

The promotion step by step:
Log on to the BDC as an Administrator
Start Server Manager (Start -> Programs -> Administrative Tools -> Server Manager)
As the PDC is not available, a warning will be displayed "Cannot find Primary DC for <domain>"
Click your BDC.
From the Computer menu select "Promote to PDC"
Again as the PDC is not available then a warning "Cannot find Primary for <Domain>". Click OK to continue
The Netlogon service will be stopped on the BDC, it will be changed to a PDC and then the Netlogon service will be started again.
This machine is now the domain PDC.
If the PDC was online, it would automatically be demoted to a BDC when the promotion occurred.

- remember?

Thanks for the trust, do make it a habit :-)

USB port with the PDC 640 camera?

The Polaroid PDC 640 digital camera connects to an available 9-pin serial port only -- it does not support the use of a USB/serial converter. However, you can use a SmartMedia Card Reader with the camera's reremovable memory to download the images via the USB port to your computer.

My system locks up when I attempt to download images from my PDC 640 camera.

While it appears that the system is locking up, the actual problem is that a message prompt in the PhotoMAX 2.0 software is hiding beneath other open windows and needs to be answered before proceeding. In this instance, the PDC 640 TWAIN Driver window has been preset to always be the "top" window, obscuring any other windows that may be open behind it. The PhotoMAX 2.0 window must be "active" (or "brought to the top") to answer any message prompts. Once the message prompt is answered, you will be able to download images. To deactivate the PDC 640 TWAIN Driver window's "Always on Top" preset: 1. Launch the PhotoMAX application. 2. Select Get Photo. 3. Select Camera or Scanner. The Acquire From window appears. 4. Select Twain device and click OK. The Select Source window appears. 5. Highlight PDC 640 and click Select. The album window appears next, followed by the PDC 640 TWAIN Driver window. 6. Right-click on the PDC 640 TWAIN Driver window and deselect (i.e. uncheck) "Always on Top". To move the PhotoMAX 2.0 window forward: 1. Launch the PhotoMAX application. 2. Click on Get Photo. 3. Click on From Album. 4. When the album opens, answer YES to the question "The contents of this album have been changed. Do you want to save the changes?". 5. Click on the Acquire icon at the top of the album window to select the PDC 640 camera and download the thumbnails from the camera. Your system will no longer appear to lock up.

Is it possible to install only the TWAIN driver for my PDC 640 camera?

Yes, you may install the PDC 640 camera TWAIN driver only. The PDC 640 TWAIN driver can be used with most TWAIN compliant image editing software. The most current driver is available for download on our website and is compatible with Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000 and XP (there is no compatibility with Windows NT at this time).

Can I use the PDC 700 with Windows Me?

The PDC 700 camera TWAIN driver is not 100% compatible with Windows Me because it does not support USB downloads. No new driver software is available from Polaroid -- however, a compatible TWAIN driver is available from a third-party source. The Pretec DC-800 is the functional equivalent of Polaroid's PDC 700. Pretec's DC-800 Setup Disk for Windows 95/98/ME/2000 is available for download at its online Driver Download Center. Testing done by Polaroid has shown that this driver works with the PDC 700 using the listed operating systems, including Windows Me. When accessing the camera with image editing software compatible with the computer's operating system, the camera driver appears as Digital Camera 1024X768 Driver.
