Samsung HT-X200R Cinema

Is there a tv expert out there? I am totally useless at setting up an electrical system and feel helpless. I am trying to understand the capability of my new home cinema system but I am struggling with setting up some of the available functions. I can only adjust the volume on my remote control, how can I adjust the bass and treble levels? I am having alot of trouble with certain functions in the menu box, I only get options for 1 of the 4 items in the menu dialogue box, what are these options and how can I set them up? There are 4 options in the menu and the only active one is the bottom one, the set up (the cog symbol). Please help me. kind regards alex HT-X200R Cinema

Re: samsung HT-X200R Cinema

According to other internet sources, this device does not allow you to adjust the bass or tremble. Very disappointing Samsung.

Hullo ... I have erroneously used the TV remote to change channels, where I should have used the TelstraClear remote to do this. I now get a "No Signal" box on the television and am unable to...

The TV is not on the correct input setting or channel. Depending on your TV model and the receiver, you have a cable coming from the receiver to the TV. That cable could be a coax (screws in), RCA (yellow, white, red tips), component (green, blue, red, white, red tips), or HDMI cable. For all cables except the coax, the TV should be on an input setting. With your TV remote, you should have a source, input, or TV/Video button. Press that button and it should bring up a list of input settings. Each time you press that button it will scroll you down the list. Try each setting until you find the picture. I hope this helps.

Humax Foxsat HDR sudden Remote Control failure..

Make sure you have pressed the "PVR" button at the top. If you have accidentally pressed on on the others TV, DVD or AUDIO then they will light up when you press another button signifying that the remote is trying to send a signal to them rather than the PVR...which is where you want it to go.

Connecting an a/v receiver to a Dish network receiver

DO you have manuals for all the units listed?
If not , try the Samsung consumer site.
It would take me quite a while to figure out your situation even with manuals and I have a business to run besides.

Also, ask some questions of Tech Support at Samsung..Let them KNOW how much you spent on their stuff.

God bless,

Connecting up

Easy set up, Hook up all the components to the back of the TV normally and then use a stereo cable from the tv to your reciever.
Usually on the tv it says audio out or variable audio out, this will go straight to your reciever on one input allowing all devices on your tv to be hooked through your reciever on one cable and the sound will come from the tv and reciever at the same time or you can turn the audio off on the tv., you can also hook up any optical audio outs from your devices to your reciever as well. This will allow for surround sound to your reciever.
