If you hear a clicking that is the relay which is a sign that the tv has partial power. The rest of the power supply is dead though. Usually it is the voltage rectifier and a wire wound resister maybe some burnt circuit traces. Many tvs lose their fly-back transformer and or the horizontal or vertical output transistor and a handful of electrolytic capacitors. Few people repair tvs these days and even fewer want to keep old cathode ray tube (CRT) types tvs anyways. How much for a new flat screen tv of similar size? Likely far cheaper than parts and labour for the other one.

Hello, it sounds like you need to reset your video output.With the power already off,press and hold down the power button till you hear the second beep then let go ,your video should rest about 8 seconds later.

usaully on a laptop there is a function key that controls video output. this key normally has three positions. Video to laptop screen only, Video to laptop and vga output (IE. lcd projector), and the last one is "Video to vga output only". The last setting will keep your laptop screen blank. It is worth a try. GOOD LUCK!!

Buy or change the cables and see if is error on yellow one(video or any).

Read this very carefully. Turn off your ps3 from the back. Then turn it back on wait unit the light is red. Turn on the system through the front keep holding the power on. You will hear a beep one time that just tell you that the ps3 is powering on keep holding the button until you hear the second beep this will rest your video setting. If that dosnt work call me at sony

The clicker noise you hear is separate from the audio output functionality of the iPod. It sounds like an issue with the headphone jack possibly. Try a soft reset by pressing the menu and center buttons at the same time for 5-7 seconds.

My Kenwood VR-507 had been working great. I hadn't changed anything. I hadn't even moved it. It just suddenly stopped producing sound. It didn't just stop while it was on. I had turned it off and when I turned it back on, nothing. I tried running the speaker setup to see if it would output pink noise, I could hear the test sound, but I couldn't hear any audio from the TV or DVD player..

Help. :-(
