Power and status lights off

The router doesn't seem to work at all. The WAN and local network lights are on but power and status are off. If I hit the reset button for 10s nothing happens. I can't connect to the router from my PC. It worked until a couple days ago and then just stopped. No change if I unplug and plug it back in. Thanks! Min

Power and status lights are off, the rest of the lights are on. When I boot up my computer it says it cannot find the exe files for the d-link.

Sounds like you may have been hit with a power surge. If you've unplugged it and let it sit for a while unpowered, and you've hit the reset button most likely the unit is broken.

INET light is on not able to connect to internet

Checked the instruction manual online. There's no INET light indicated. There's Power, Status, WAN, WLAN, and LAN LEDs. The WAN LED only indicates that the WAN port is connected to another device, e.g., cable or DSL modem. Check on your cable or DSL modem to see if the Internet light is on. If so, then you'll need to log into your router and go through the configuration/setup per the manual for your type of connection.

I have Belkin N150 Rouer. My internet is Time warner. It has no connection between the modern and Belkin router. How can I set up Belkin N150 Router to solve this problem?

f the modem light keeps blinking, it means that the router hasn't been configured yet. Also, rarely, it can be an issue with WAN port/modem port on the router or the ethernet cable connecting the modem to router or finally, modem may not be working as its not applicable in this case(as you said).

1.Connect comp.--(gray port) router (yellow port)--modem
2.On the computer, open the router page by typing 192.168.2.1 in the address bar of browser

NOTE : IF YOUR INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER IS CABLE FOLLOW THE BELOW STEPS

3.Under Internet WAN , SELECT the connection type as Dynamic.->NEXT
4.On the far left column, click on "MAC address" under Internet WAN.
5.Click on clone and apply changes and finally check Internet status
6.If internet status > Not connected, we need to do a network power cycle
7.For this, unplug the power from router, then from modem, then unplug the coaxial cable from cable modem.
8. Wait for 60 sec, then connect the coaxial cable, then connect power to modem, wait for lights on modem to get steady, then finally, plug in the power to router.
Now, you may see proper lights lit on the router.
All my best wishes for a fast internet service through the router.

FOR PPPOE OR DSL CONNECTIONS
1.Under Internet WAN , SELECT the connection type as PPPOE ->NEXT
2.ENTER THE USERNAME & PASSWORD PROVIDED BY YOUR IN INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER
3.CLICK ON APPLY CHANGES

The router shows it is connected, but I do not have internet acess

Hello;
First connect via Ethernet. Then
  • Click START'RUN and then type CMD
  • At the black window with the prompt(cursor) type ipconfig and search "default gateway"
  • Type the gateway address in the browser ej: 192.168.0.1
This is for enter the web administration of the router. I don't know your revision. But I will get you the Hardware Version: A1 Firmware Version: 1.04
  • Aim for Status as the picture above
On the WAN section is the actual Internet. WAN = Wide Area Network. Your computer is actually on the LAN = Local Area Network. The Computer looks the address on the router, then the router go to the WAN for the information. But this is transparent to the user. If the WAN is in cero on the addresses, you have to check the installation. when the installation are correct power cycle the modem and the router and try again. Always connected via Ethernet cable. Hope to help! coquibiz.jpg

Router isn't registering that it has power. The power light or status light will not come on despite the power adapter being connected correctly. However, the WLAN light and all four local network lights...

seems like your power have a hardware failure. Sorry to say but is a common on D-Link.
and you cant repair it. so best way is to buy new one or leave it to warranty if you still have it.

I can't connect to the internet or router, only wan and 1-4 local network lights up

Check the power cable, try to connect it to a different power socket.
Change the powercable and check whether the power light is up
if still the same problem then it should be the hardware issue.
Contact the manufacturer or service provider if it is under warrenty

{If it is connected through USB and getting power from the computer itself then uninstall and reinstall the USB software}

Lights are solid green: WAN, local network 1,2,3,4

If that is status of the lights on your router there's a big possibility that its already bad and needs a replacement, but you can first try to reset it and check if that will correct the problem
, To reset the router just press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds while the power is ON then after that check if the lights are back to normal if still the same light router is already bad...

My D-Link AirPlus Xtrame G is dead

Your power adapter may be dead, check the power connector with a multimeter to see if you have the correct voltage as per the label on the adapter. If not you may only need to buy a power adapter.
You may be able to borrow another adapter with the same voltage and current rating and plug it into your D-Link and if you get a POWER and STATUS lights it proves you have a dead power adapter. If you don't get any lights then it looks like your D-Link is dead.

Dlink Di-784

You can try to reset your Router by using a pen or a paper click there is a little whole in the back of your router that you can click with a pen. This should restart the modem. If this doesn't work you can hold the reset button but this will restore the router to factory default settings
