It's not grounded good. Also, make sure your battery to the vehicle is grounded good to the frame. Check that your CB is hooked into an accessory power switch, in other words one that provides power when the key is on but vehicle hasn't been started yet.

SOURCE: lots of engine noise

It sounds like you have a problem with alternator noise interfering with your receive signal. You can check your local truckstops for an interference filter, these run about $15 and wire directly to the hot and ground wires respecively behind your cb. Or you can make one yourself.

To make one yourself, go to your auto parts store and buy a condensor...the kind that goes on the older automobiles. Find a body ground on your vehicle and hook the groundwire to this (you'll need enough extension wire of the same gauge to make the trip from the condensor to the selected body ground point), then hook the hotwire to the hot power wire coming to the radio.

If a girl like me can figure this out and do it, I'm sure you can do it too. There's really nothing to it.

SOURCE: cb transmit noise

Its just RF feed back, that's normal, try to re-route the coax, or just turn the FM down, o try turning your modulation down....hope this was helpful....

Volvo engine wont start

Sounds like it's the pump. Did you turn the key (to on position) with the rear seat removed, and listen for the pump (when key is just turned to on / 2nd position without starting) . You should hear the pump make some fluid exchange / pump noise...

It used to work fine, but one day i was driving down the road and the incoming signal that i was listening to suddenly started to go away and then all i heard was engine noise, and no incoming...

sounds like a noise filtering issue, could be caused by the alternator. if it works fine with the engine off then the problem is going to be the alternator. It can also be a bad earth on the radio/antenna

Why does my cb radio not have any incoming sound when key is on or when car is started, it worked fine until i drove it once when it was on, now i have nothing but engine noise?

all has to do with your antenna system and your power to the radio. If your power is a lighter plug it will cause the noise to rise but a badly grounded antenna will too.check for a good ground and an SWR below a 2:1 and you should be ok.Also where is the antenna mounted? That could also be a cause. Go thru everything with a logical view and you should find a location where it does not make any noise other than normal receive.

Low oil pressure light came on engine madee noise and died will not start but makes growling noise whe n trying to start

Sounds like you lost oil pressure and possibly the engine is shot due to losing pressure. It's possible the timing belt/chain broke. Even if this is this is the case, usually it requires valves replaced and head rebuilt/replaced.

I lose signal, I get no white noise or anything.

Sounds like you might have a bad soilder on the board. If you take off the top cover and press on the board lightly here and there will the noise change or the radio work.If so then you'll have to locate the bad joint or have someone do it for you.

2006 ford mustang wont start after driving the car for a few hours cut car off and parked for about a hour or so when returned to get back in car to leave the car would not start the lights inside the car...

Sounds like an electrical mess up. Im not too familiar with ford and newer vehicles. It could be the starter getting jambed. The make a grinding/clicking noise..Something like a selenoid? Just ideas..
