Unplugged it. After looking for a new tv online I decided to try getting it to work. So, plugged it back in and held down the power button, a red light came on, held down the power button again and an orange light came on, held down power button again and green light came on and tv powered on. This was simply a case of trial and success!

I have a Mitsubishi WD 60738 and the stand by light on the front of the tv was staying on and was orange. I removed the power supply and blew out all the dust and reinstalled the power supply and now the...

Hello Jeff;
If the TV does not turn on or off, does not respond to the remote
control or the control panel buttons, or has audio but no video:
1.) Press and hold the POWER button on the control panel for ten seconds. The TV will turn off.
2.) Power on the TV and the green LED will flash quickly for about one minute. The changes you made most recently, before using SYSTEM RESET, may be lost.

If the TV does not respond to the remote control or to the control-panel buttons and TV will not power on or off.
• Unplug the AC power cord for 10 seconds.
• Press and hold the POWER button on the control panel for 10
seconds to perform a system reset.

If the TV turned itself off and the light on the front panel started to flash:
• Momentary power fluctuation can cause the TV to turn off to prevent damage. Wait for the green light to stop flashing and turn the TV on again.
• If the TV does not stay on, press the POWER button on the
control panel for ten seconds to perform a System Reset. If this happens frequently, obtain an AC line power conditioner/surge protector.
• An unusual digital signal may have been received, triggering a
protection circuit. Wait for the light to stop flashing and turn TV

If the TV will not power off, press the POWER button on the control panel for ten seconds to perform a System Reset.

Should you still have problems, call for assistance at 1(800) 332-2119

I would not recommend using compressed air or any other method that would blow dust around- since the dust could make its way into the set's circuitry via the grille or vents and cause problems. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment instead.

No picture or sound read and green power button flashing.

This sound like a powewr supply problem, or a capacitor burn-out problem. Look on the back of your screen and see if ther is a reset button, if so, hold button in for 5-10 seconds, that way the circuit boards reset, if that doesn't work, or if there is no button, unplug tv, hold power button in for about 10 seconds, release button, plug in and try again. If that still doesn't work, then it is probably capacitors burnt out on the i.c. board. If your tv is still under warranty, then follw their instructions for service, if out of warranty, or if you have no warranty on it, take it to BestBuy, or Fry's electronics. They both have specialists trained in capacitor repairs for tv's. Just know that the cost of the repair may be as much if not more than the cost of a new tv of comparable size and quality.

My Sabre LCD TV is blinking red and green on power button and will not come on

My TV just did this 2 days before Thanksgiving. I just messed with it and fixed it today. Unplug it from the power source for atleast one hour. Plug it back it. Hold the power button til constantly flashes red and green. Wait at least one minute while it continues to flash. Turn it off. Flip the big power source button on the back to off && then on. Then hit the power button on the side, and it should turn on. Worked for mine. Hope it helps.
