one thing you can do is to disconnect the CMOS battery for about a minute or so to let the charge drain away, then re-connect it ( you could always renew it at the same time as they don't last forever ) This will reset the BIOS to default settings and a password will no longer be required. you have to do something called a system recovery this will delete all your memory but you can get help saving the memory from geek squad if you are willing to pay $100 anyway the system recovery requires a disk if you dont have it get it from tech support but who know there could be other options

there are a few different ways to resolve this issue
1. call the manufacturer and ask if they have a reset or a way to get the password
2.look in the manual and see if your laptop has a jumper setting that will reset the bio (including the password)
3 just go to the manufacturers website and get the latest bios update and flash the bios
4 remove the cmos battery leave it out for literally a week (7days) then replace it (best if the computer is off this entire time)- this way it forgets whats saved in the bios

click start control panel user accounts
you should see a box with the administrator and the guest account if you have made one click on the administrator the administrator can change passwords on any account on a computer another page will open type a new password, type the new password again, type a pasword hint
this hint will be visible to everyone who uses this computer
During the boot up process you will see on the screen for a short amount of time press a certain key to enter set up
Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS scroll down to set user password or supervisor password you can change or remove your password from there
