if you can hear a humming noise when put on drain, this means the drain pump moter is ok but might have an object stuck around the blades! to check this you have to take off the drain moter which is behind the filter which in most models the base is open, so you have to take plug off from mains and lift the machine up and get to it from the bottom! it has 3 screws on it and its the moter which has the drain hose attached near it not the one without as most LGs have two moters one for drain one for circulation! take this moter out and check whats around it! it could be even string of some sort! make sure you put the screws in the exact place otherwise wrong hole would make it leak! take care! my advise would be to call local engineer which wont cost more than 40 to 50 pounds to fix! make sure you dont get ripped off by them saying the pump moter has gone as these pump moters very very rarely goes! im an engineer and i do this every day so i know! good luck!
Yea these carbs can be a real pain sometimes to get right. First thing you need to do is varify the float seat is working and totally stopping all fuel flow.... and all the jets, main, pilot and choke circuit are absolutely clean. Bench test the float needle valve by connecting a hose to the carb fuel line nipple and letting gas gravity feed as it would in a run position. if it tests ok, remount it on the bike... i'm guessing you have a vacuum petcock on this year model? If you do, it needs to be inspected. In the "on" position you should have no gas flow coming through the petcock, In the "prime" position it free flows. If there is a hole in the diaphram the engine will **** gas and not air (vacuum) through the hose and it will flood. If you don't have a vacuum line on your petcock then it is a different kind. Be sure to check your crankcase, it could be way past full with gas that has entered, dont start your engine like that...drain it all out. make sure the air filter is dry. You will have to replace the spark plugs...a gas soaked plug won't fire. Good luck, i hope this helps.
the problem is either your pump or your hoses. this an easy fix. all you need is a screwdriver and a bucket to catch water. 1st unplug the machine and remove the drain hose from the drain. then try to drain the water from the washer by plugging it back in and setting the washer to drain. if no water comes out of your drain hose then you know your plumbing is ok. next put the drain hose back in the drain and take the cabinet of your washer. you will see your pump with 2 hoses connecting to it. one hose connects to the basket and the other to the drain. disconnect the hose coming from the basket and if water comes out then you know the basket is not blocked with any article of clothing. if both check out ok your problem would be the pump. write down the model and serial number to your washer and buy a pump. they are only about 15.00. remove the old and install the new. having a repairman like me install would cost about 150.00, so i advise you to do it yourself or have a friend help.
First remove the kick plate.on the front bottom
Is the pump running when it should be draining?
Is The solenoid (Wash/drain) pulling down when it should be draining? (If visable)
Left hand side attached to the pump housing.
If yes then you probably have a blocked drain hose or house drain blockage.
Undo the drain hose at the sink, often stuff can collect where the hose fits over the drain fitting and cause a plug. and also the hose can get clogged on the inlet side of the pump too ok? If OK. Try to drain it into a pail. Be sure to hold the hose there
firmly and put a rag/towel over the top of the pail or you will have
water everywhere. and fully inspect the hose all the way up to the pump . Hope his is very helpful for you Best regards Michael
E20 on your machine means some sort of Drain problem. If it actually goes through the Spin cycle o.k. then there is most likely some water still not drained out at the time of the tumble dry. Check the drain to make sure it isn't clogged. also the drain hose.
PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display then
drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the
pump is running.
the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
the above does not correct the problem, replace the pump.
It's because of a Long
Drain condition. If
the drain time exceeds 8 minutes, the water valves are turned
off the code is flashed.
After 4 minutes the "Sud" error is usually displayed,
then 4 minutes later the error code is displayed.
