Everything black. Disconnect/reconnect power cord and Olevia logo lights up blue. Hit power button and logo goes out, but no picture. When I hit the power again to "turn off", Olivia logo does not light. Repeat and same thing happens everytime.

Plug in the tv. Power light comes on. PUsh power from remote or on tv. nothing happens but the blue power light goes off as it is supposed to do. Cannot "turn off" tv with remote to get power light to turn on. Have to do it from the tv.

TV will occasionally not turn on. Blue light goes off, but television does not turn on. Only way to get television to work is to unplug television, plug it back in, and start over. Sometimes it works, sometimes it requires multiple tries. Olevia says it could be a power supply issue ($89), but no guarantees. TV is only 18 months old.

After watching the 37lthvs for an hour to 4 hours, it turns itself off. Unplugging don't work. If I wait 10-15 minutes, I can turn it back on. Timer is de-activated.

my lcd will click off in the middle of viewing and go black. i have to unplug and wait a few seconds replug and the blue screen will appear when i hit on/off button. it will continue this if i keep viewing but the time intervals between shutting down shortens. was hoping to find a solution from someone with similar problem.

My screen goes to the Olevia startup, then turns green, then shuts off. It 'reboots' and will continue this loop until unplugged.

I have a 32'' olevia 232v hdtv. I had a similar problem where the tv stays on less and less as you use it longer and it gets warmer. I called customer service and they explained that its most likely a problem with it is doesnt have enough power to run well. They said turn the TV off, then hit the master turn off switch in the lower back of the tv, then unplug everything from the TV, then unplug everything from the wall. Then after 3 or 4 hours, plug all back in and try again. Then they said if i still have a problem, call customer service at 1 866 9 olevia

I've been told by TV repair folks that your issue is probably a result of some circuit being bad. He states that the bad circuit works when cold but as TV heats up, it fails. Solution, either pay someone to test all your boards or do it yourself with a multimeter.

Olevia tv, no power

This the common problem for Olevia TV, open up the back cover, locate the power supply board, look for the electolytic capacitors top that is slightly domed, replace them, they usually 1 or 4 that is bad, buy your replacement's at Radio Shack

Olevia 37 turning off for no particular reason

I suspect that the main power supply is trying to self-destruct; what you describe could be the switching power supply struggling to stay up and running. It isn't the cable company's problem.
FYI: Olevia has declared bankruptcy so you may not be able to get any help from them.

You need to take the unit to an authorized repair shop to have it
check and correct it , looks like the power supply section got affected by the sudden change of voltage and damaged an internal part, hope this helps , AJ

Olevia 747 won't come on

I had the same problem with a 437. It just shut off one day and I could never turn it back on again. I called Syntax Brillian and they told me the mother board was probably shot. They sent me a new TV and took the damaged one back.
