Question about RCA VR355 VHS VCR
Display shows "safe" and is inoperable
Try pressing down the vcr or Aux button for a long time. Then try pressing down power button on remote for a long time. Try info or display button for long time. After I fiddled around with these for a long time it worked.

I held down the power button for a few minutes, and all of a sudden it kick on and it works fine again!!!!!!

I had the same problem and followed the above advise. held down for extended time. gave up and then safe went off and vcr working. thanks
