you can download driver for windows 7 at link above, just select your laptop type and select windows 7 operating system you can download driver acer crystal eye webcam
Go to control panel, double click on add hardware. another pop up window will open. From the selection, choose Yes, I have already installed hardware (something like that), click next and it will give you choices for each hardware. scroll down to these selections until you see the hardware named Acer crystal eye webcam. keep going until you're done. let me know the result.
if ur drivers are updated from www.acer.com then u should look into settings of yahoo messenger and select and test ur camera but these settings will only work when u are online try if it helps check ur camera if it works somewhere else
hi,the acer crystal eye has issues with mcafee site adviser either delete it as i did or configure it.search mcafeemessenger click on microsoft live messenger 2009 (v140) conference link to the appr opiate page hope this is helpful.
well fist the size that it is says is creating the error is interesting. My guess is that the fault is because the picture you are trying to access is actually a GIF. If this is the case many camera software and even some of the graphic software will not read it. Try opening that picture in internet explorer and see what happens. To remove the fault what i would do is erase the picture or move it to another part of your hard drive. That way when you start the camera it will not be looking for that picture but another JPEG.
