Worked faultlessly for years. Mains substation failure in Plymouth.Function lcd now flickers read rather than green when remote used and no screen etc display at all. Pressed reset button on reverse, nothing dead. now two RED constant lcds and no function. Switched off for hours too, any fix? or is it one for the skip?

Hi.
I have never worked on this box but if it went faulty after power cut chances are that some of the electrolytic capacitors in the psu (power supply) require changing.
Look for any that look like they have got hot are bulging or have a dark stain around them.
