I HAVE A DELL LAPTOP LATITUDE (D600), ANY TIME I TRY TO BOOT THE SYSTEM, IT WILL ASK ME TO INPUT SYSTEM PASSWORD BEFORE IT BOOT TO HARDISK. PLS I FORGOT MY PASSWORD PLEASE GIVE A PASSWORD TO OPEN IT
what kinda password is it?/ a user password?? or a bios?? if it is a bios ( cmos ) superviser password...you have to reinstall probably ...but first try to remove the cmos battery from the mother board ...and reset it to the default optimal settings .. Im also afraid that it might be another kinda password ..like a power related...and this is more tricky ...probably you will have to bypass it somehow...
I have found that BIOS/CMOS Password Recovery Tool is the most effective.: BIOS/CMOS Password Recovery Tool is a program that works instantly to remove any lost or forgotten BIOS/CMOS password. Simply boot your PC to DOS and execute the program, and get access to forgotten BIOS/CMOS passwords in just seconds

Monitor goes black (no green, no to flashlight test) even while we are working at fast pace and laptop is stationary. Monitor stays on (power light on), tried both crt and lcd monitors; same behavior. Can wiggle mouse or reboot to regain visual. Also when moving the laptop, screen flashes, both monitors. Cannot test with laptop monitor, as employee needs larger screen to do work and this is intermittent -- can happen 15+ x day or go 3 days with no problem.
