Question about Samsung HLN467W 46" Rear Projection HDTV
When I turn on my Samsung tv, I'm able to access the menu screen, but there is no picture or sound. I know that the speakers work, as I've tested them. On another post, the solution was something like the MICOM doesn't work. Any suggestions? And...I have no idea what a MICOM is.

Unplug the set, pull out the lamp module (not all the way - leave it on the track) and push it back in.
Power issues (Tv not turning on) were typically due to faulty ballast. While the TV reports a bad lamp it is the ballast itself causing the issue. Samsung is well aware and will replace both the ballast and the lamp (since the lamp can be prematurely aged but the bad ballast). After replacment most people stop having issues.
